Does thought of meditating for long periods of time with a quiet calm mind seem impossible? Well, you are not alone! Most people I have met, including myself are not able to find peace and calm by sitting silently. This does not mean that meditation and all the amazing health benefits associated with it are unattainable. There are many ways to calm the busy mind. During this 2-hour workshop we will explore many short meditations. Including, but not limited to visualizations, music, mindful eating (yum), candle gazing, even coloring and doing artwork. We will explore an accessible approach to meditation. The intent is to find some mental and physical calm while doing something enjoyable with like minded people
